There was double trouble for a team of police officers who had to face not one, but two Scholes', in a charity match. Former United star Paul lined up for Chadderton Park Legends as they took on a Greater Manchester Police XI in a fundraising game last night.

However they also had to face Paul’s son Arron, 14, who played alongside his dad in the 5-3 win at North Chadderton School.

The pair could be seen exchanging advice - and passes - during the action packed match, in which Paul waltzed through the opposition defence to score the first goal.
