United 0-3 City - Is the Writing on the Wall?

The loss to Liverpool felt bad enough, but after the Olympiacos victory, then West Ham many were feeling positive for the remainder of the season.

Tonight however brought everyone back down to earth, it showed that United haven't got it: no grit, no determination, no tactical awareness, no ideas and no fight, even the challenge against our 'noisy neighbours' couldn't inspire them.

Is it the ageing squad or is it Moyes? To me its both, but mostly Moyes, he isnt a United Manager, he never sounds like he believes in what he can do, his interviews are a prime example - he always has little sound bites,  but they don't convince anyone, he always says 'were gonna try' or 'we'll make it difficult' - this isn't what United Manager's are supposed to say, it doesn't inspire confidence in the players, quite simply he has to go before he's given the reported £150m to spend (waste) in the summer.

2 more examples of quotes from tonight's interview from Moyes, could never imagine Ferguson saying this!
"Until the second goal we were still in it." [At 56 minutes, is this really the time to give up on chasing a 2-0 scoreline]
"I think we have played a very good side, playing at the sort of level we are aspiring to."
