Manchester United forgotten man Javier Hernandez set for Atletico Madrid summer move?

Javier Hernandez looks set to leave Manchester United with Atletico Madrid a likely destination.

The Mexican striker has struggled to force his way into David Moyes' first team this season making just 11 starts despite the champions' high profile struggles.

With frustration increasing the 25-year-old could be one of many to leave Old Trafford this summer in the search of more regular playing time.

And reports in Spain suggest that the table topping Rojiblancos are keen on giving the talented front man a fresh start.

With the free-scoring Diego Costa all but certain to leave the Calderon this summer, a replacement will be in demand with daily El Mundo Deportivo putting Hernandez firmly in the frame.

Despite United's interest it appears Hernandez would join Koke at Atletico with the young midfielder reportedly happy to stay put in Spain rather than switch to the Premier League this summer.
