Shinji Kagawa got his starting role for Japan today against New Zealand in their international friendly against New Zealand, it was a chance for him to show David Moyes exactly why he should feature more often for Manchester United – he certainly did that.
After only four minutes, Kagawa grabbed an assist with a perfectly weighted lofted through ball from the halfway line that his team-mate finished to put Japan 1-0 up.

He said before the match be wanted to show Moyes what he could bring, hoping his performance would improve. Looks like he got his wish.
